Favourites at the Take Three Exhibition at The post Modern, Theatre Square, SN1 1QN July 18th - 30th Open Monday - Saturday 11am - 5pm

The exhibition space at the Post Modern has been divided into three sections to accommodate the work of Vicky Silver, Hannah Moreton and Sally Taylor.
At the private View on Friday night, I talked extensively to Hannah about her work, a bit to Sally and less to Vicky.
This magnificent embroidery piece entitled Queen Viv, is a tribute to Vivienne Westwood, who inspired Hannah's interest in fashion.
These plates are a reflection of Hannah's interest in domesticity. I have bought the middle one and am thinking about domesticity in a different light.
Sally is interested in personal histories, particularly the stories held within old photos. My favourite picture of Sally's has appeared on the blog under the 'Substance' exhibition entry, this is my second favourite, entitled 'Alan with Gran and Gramps 1962
Vicky has many birds on show, I'm not sure what this one was called.
Do try and get along and have a look at the exhibition.
And have a look at Gordon's slide show on you tube:
