The Platform as a Venue for Open Studios an Update.

Excellent news, after meeting Paul Ashman of the Swindon Music Service this morning, it has been confirmed that we're still welcome to exhibit in the Platform despite a change of use of the building.
Annoyingly the details of the Music Service were left behind, but there are some photos of the inside and some text I copied from SBC's website.

 When people say, well where is the Platform?
It's that rather imposing, lovely building on Faringdon Road. It was the old Railway Museum.

Youth Support - The Platform

On this page: Information about youth support services provided at The Platform.
What is The Platform?
The Platform is a centre for all young people aged 11-19 in Swindon, housed in the former Railway Museum building in Faringdon Road, Swindon.
It is a general meeting place for young people, and the venue for diverse events - some of which are planned, while others are spontaneous.  
The resources available to our visitors include:
  • Wi-Fi

  • Industry standard sound system
