Art @ Treberfydd House - who else was there?

I particularly enjoyed looking at  Sally Matthew's work; although the photograph does not do this horse justice, Sally is able to 'breathe life' into her sculptures and paintings. This horse looked as though it belonged in front of Treberfydd House. Sally also took part in The 'Fresh Air' biennial sculpture exhibition at Quenington this year: www.freshair2011.com
To see more of Sally's work, go to: www.sallymatthews.co.uk
Here is one of Neil Bally's paintings positioned below a beautiful frieze, and above one of the finest fireplaces, carved locally from local stone by local craftsmen. Neil hung the exhibition very sensitively, making the paintings and sculpture look as though they belonged there. Neil runs a selection of art courses from his delightful home near Talgarth, set in the foothills of the Black Mountains. To find out more, go to: www.niel.bally.co.uk
This is my favourite painting of Jane's, featured on her business cards, it's beautiful. To see more of Jane's paintings, go to: www.janemilner-barry.co.uk
For a day out, why not visit Treberfydd House during August?
There is also a plant nursery in the grounds and glorious camping at Ty Mawr where you can also find out more about traditional and ecological building materials: www.lime.org.uk
