Toby Robson's Preview 5th of February 2011

Toby's exhibition at Artsite on Saturday was great. He has some fabulous pieces in the exhibition, it's well worth a look. There were lots of people in attendance and a general party atmosphere, it's such a wonderful venue for showing off work to it's best advantage.
Events there are well worth attending.
This Saturday, there's a Craft Market all day, I'll be down there.

Artists are consulted about the Regeneration of Theatre Square

This exciting project is being organised by a company called Groundwork, and funded by Marks & Spencer; with matched funding from Swindon Borough Council.
In order to work out how to improve the Theatre Square area, Groundwork are holding consultations with various interested bodies.
Yesterday artists based at The Post Modern gave their ideas for improving the area using a system enabling everyone to give their views. The photo below shows Paul Exton, Steve Thorne and Tim Carroll sitting beside their ideas 'wheel'.

This community project is still very much in the planning stage, but promises to improve the environment in Theatre Square for everyone using it, and encourage others to come and enjoy it.

Toby Robson's Exhibition FeAl

Toby Robson's latest exhibition, the cleverly named FeAl opened today at the Post Modern Gallery, Theatre Square.
It runs from the 1st of February  until the 18th of February 2011.
